A new solution is only beneficial if it does what you expect. Obvious maybe, but understanding what you want from your new solution is the key to it being a resounding success within your business.
Depending on the size of the project, we will begin by understanding the key motivators behind your need (for the solution). Together, we will create a sound vision and scope for the project(s) and ensure that this addresses the gains and improvements expected.
Now, to ensure that we get truly 'under the hood' of your company and its processes, we believe it is vital for our team to understand how your users work with your current systems and how you want to work in your ideal system.
Once we have a solid appreciation of "how you do things", we watch the way your (key) users work. We will then discuss the processes with the users and get a detailed description of what they face during their working day and improvements they wish to see in their new system.
All the above is distilled into the functional design of your new system and will set the scene for the project plan and project scope.
