Dynamics NAV BI vs Reports

Dynamics NAV BI is different to Dynamic NAV Reports in the way the data is used and presented. In our view, Business Intelligence (BI) is the provision of information in a way that facilitates decisions or calls to action at glance. Reporting is the more detailed analysis that is used to direct action or decisions. BI is normally associated with "Dashboards". A dashboard is something that shows a key bit of information graphically and generally to indicate its relative change or position (e.g. compared to last year or to a pre-defined target).
